Jeanne Kuhns’ Band “Lost Mothra” Performs at Joe Jo’s Friday, April 23 from 6-8 pm
From progressive folk to flavors of jazz and blues, “Lost Mothra” plays a sparkling collection of Jeanne Kuhns’ originals and a wide variety of covers.
Winner of Door County Magazine’s “Female Musician of the Year” award in 2008, Jeanne also hosts the summer music series at Woodwalk Gallery’s Events Barn. Her band, Lost Mothra is a powerful collection of accomplished master musicians.

Accompanying her on guitar is George Sawyn, an accomplished jazz and classical stylist, performing professionally in Chicago for over 30 years, and newly relocated to Door County! Nationally known violinist, Lynn Gudmundsen runs Door County’s Annual Summer Bluegrass Camp and has played with many high-profile musicians. Patrick Palmer has played both stand up and electric bass with “Lost Mothra” for 2 years and previously worked with many other groups in the county.
